How to Determine The Benefit Amount Under SSDI

People are often concerned about the amount of Social Security Disability benefits they are entitled to receive. I am attorney Gary Jones, and at The Law Center for Social Security Disability in Oklahoma City, I can quickly and clearly answer any questions you may have about benefit amounts.

How To Determine The Amount Of Social Security Benefits

There are two simple ways to determine the benefit amount. First, the Social Security Administration will send an Earnings Statement every 5 years. This begins at the age of 25. This statement shows the amount of benefits to which you are eligible. If you have not received a statement, it does not necessarily mean you are not eligible. Perhaps your address has not been updated.

The second method of determining your Social Security benefits amount is to set up an account at the Social Security Administration website. Once you have an account, you can log-in and determine what your benefit payment amount might be.

Maximizing Social Security Benefits

I will make certain you get all the benefits to which you are entitled, from the application stage onward. If your claim has been denied and you are getting no benefits at all, I will pursue an appeal.
